WASHING

We want your Vivid Color to stay exactly that- vivid! For best results, avoid washing your hair for 72 hours after your appointment.

After 72 hours, wash with sulfate free shampoo and conditioner using cool water.

Please note color will fade with every shampoo, so wash sparingly! To increase the longevity of single color Vivids, Custom color potions (a once weekly color distributing balm) are always available for purchase. this does not recolor the hair and is purely to maintain the vibrancy of existing color until your next visit.

Avoid chlorine and salt water the first 2 weeks of your new color

Heat Treating

always use a heat protectant when styling, and use a lower heat setting, less often- no styling iron should be over 350 for color treated hair, as it is more susceptible to fading.

when to come Back

To maintain the color as you left the salon we recommend retouching no more than 6-10 weeks later

if your’e open to embracing the color as it fades, return within 8-10 weeks
